About me

Welcome to Re-Mind Therapy Services.
My name is Bobbie.

Do you find yourself endlessly looking for a counsellor who can understand your needs? Are you experiencing overwhelming feelings of anxiety, negative thoughts, or even lacking the motivation to make positive changes?

Are past or present traumas preventing you from living life to its fullest potential?

Is the reason you are searching for a counsellor due to a relationship breakdown or the loss of a loved one, and you need extra support?

No matter the reason you're experiencing changes to your mental health, you do not have to feel alone with these feelings.

I can help you discuss difficult emotions by offering a safe and non-judgmental space to explore. Whether you’re experiencing feelings of shame, guilt or anger, perhaps you don’t feel anything at all? I am here to offer warmth and empathy so you can feel safe to explore these feelings.

As a fully qualified counsellor, and trainee Cognitive Behavioral  (CBT) therapist, I am able to offer an integrative approach to therapy and use evidence-based techniques to help you challenge negative thought patterns and replace them with healthier, more constructive ways of thinking. CBT can be particularly helpful for managing anxiety, depression, and stress. Together, we can work through your challenges and create practical strategies for lasting change.

If you feel ready to take the next step, I am here to listen. If you would like to arrange a free consultation, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me.

Please email me or feel free to drop me a text. Please check your junk folder if you are contacting via email.

Please note I have clinic access in Burscough and Standish.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
