About me

Do you need someone to talk to? Do you need some emotional support, and help understanding what’s going on? There can be times when you feel overwhelmed and powerless, and now you’ve taken the decision to reach out for help. My priority is to make you feel safe and supported enough in the session to talk freely about whatever is bothering you, about whatever you’re feeling, and that can be quite a daunting prospect. Maybe you’ve never really had the opportunity to explain your innermost thoughts and feelings to someone who cares. You’ll find it liberating, and it will be the start of a major journey of healing and self-discovery.

I’ve a lot of experience dealing with trauma and anxiety, as well as emotional difficulties in childhood and early adulthood, and how these play out in adult life, in relationships, at work, and in social situations. I use a variety of methods including EFT, trauma work, dream work, body work, neuroscience, creative imagination, mindfulness and meditation.

I offer a free first session for you to ask me any questions, get to know me a bit better, and get a sense of whether you feel you could work with me. I look forward to working with you to release you from whatever is holding you back in the past, to enable you to develop to your full potential in the present, and face the future with confidence.

Training, qualifications & experience

I have a Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy (2020) after 5 years training at the CCPE.

I also have a Diploma in Integrated Energy Healing from the FIEH (2011) and I am a Reiki master (2011).

I practised as a healer for 5 years and I have now been seeing psychotherapy clients for 5 years.

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
