About me

Based in Ramsgate, I offer both online and face-to-face in person counselling sessions.

With a background in the creative industries, including acting, writing, presenting, and directing, I bring a firsthand understanding of the pressures and challenges that can affect our wellbeing. Whether you're experiencing anxiety, anger, low self-esteem, issues with parents/relationships, or simply feeling unsure or overwhelmed, you don't have to navigate it alone.

Trained in a range of counselling approaches, I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all method. Instead, I offer you a thoughtfully tailored experience, shaped around you, your needs, and your pace and always within a safe and confidential space.

Clients often tell me they value the balance I bring of honesty, professionalism, flexibility, and a sense of ease. There's room here for real conversation and yes, even moments of humour, when it feels right. Nothing you bring will shock me— this is a space without judgement, where you can feel safe to share whatever is on your mind.

We can work together at whatever pace feels comfortable for you, with no pressure, just support that meets you where you are.

If you're considering counselling, you're very welcome to get in touch for an initial, no obligation chat. It's a chance to ask any questions, see how you feel, and decide whether working together feels right for you. You can contact me by phone or email - it's a simple way to see if we're the right fit and begin moving things forward.

Contact me, and I promise to respond the same day.

Registered / Accredited

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
