About me

Coronavirus has affected us all one way or another so as the current health situation stands I offer counselling on online platforms in order to keep us safe and to ensure you can access consistent support.

I truly believe one size of therapy doesn't fit all. Why? Because every person is different. Qualified to use many theories, I like to integrate my practice, maybe use CBT or EFT depending on your needs; if you don't like it we won't use it, no problem, this is about you and your needs come first.

Everyone has the potential to change their lives and whilst I won't tell you what to do I will help you find your way in a totally non judgmental atmosphere, believe me, nothing can shock me!

My background is in the creative arena, Acting, Writing, Presenting, Teaching etc so I bring with me a wealth of experience to do with anxiety, panic attacks, rejection, fear, depression, as well as bereavement, social anxiety, general anxiety disorder, family and relationship issues like affairs or betrayal, sexual or communication issues etc. I also counsel in the LGBTQ community, including transgender and transitioning. My clients include families and couples as well as young people and troubled teens.

Call me, text me, email me, Facetime me, Whatsapp me or Zoom me and we'll take it from there. I'm available 6 days and evenings a week.

Member organisations

BACP

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

Accredited register membership

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
