About me

There is no prescription to follow to ensure 'a cure' because I don't believe you're broken, think of me as being here to help you facilitate you own change.

Why doesn't one size of therapy fit all? Because every person is different. Qualified to use many theories alongside CBT, I work with what suits you; if you don't like it we won't use it, no problem, this time it's all about you.

Sessions last for 50 minutes and in that time we'll explore what's most important to you, no matter how small, after all that's why you're here; you need to change something in your life and believe me, nothing can shock me!

Having a background in the creative arena, Acting, Writing, Presenting, Teaching etc means you get to access my wealth of experience to do with anxiety, panic attacks, feeling sad, depression, as well as bereavement, performance and social anxiety, general anxiety disorder, family and relationship issues like affairs or betrayal, sexual or communication issues etc and the LGBTQ community problems, including transgender and transitioning, plus BAME issues like diaspora.

I also devise and deliver corporate Mental Health Webinars. A fully qualified Clinical Supervisor, I work with counsellors, psychotherapists, mental health professionals, corporate firms and trainees.

Contact me and I promise to respond the same day.

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
