About me
**What I Do**
I provide professional therapeutic counselling for individuals and couples facing challenges. Whether you're grappling with relationship difficulties, the painful impacts of domestic violence, the complex emotions that arise from trauma, or the deep grief associated with loss, I am here to offer compassionate support. My experience also extends to women's issues, navigating life transitions, and managing anxiety and depression.
I have a good understanding of Eastern cultures and the diverse experiences that shape individuals. Over the years, I have gained extensive experience working in multicultural environments, enriching my appreciation of human experiences' complexities. This experience has allowed me to connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds, enhancing my understanding of cultural differences and how they shape perspectives, behaviors, and interactions.
**How I Work**
My therapeutic approach is integrative, meaning I draw upon various techniques tailored to your unique needs and experiences. I recognize that even individuals facing similar challenges may require different strategies to find healing and growth. It's important to me that our work together feels personal and resonates with you, enabling transformative change.
**What I Use** ( Some of my tools )
- Person-centered: Focusing on your perspective and encouraging self-discovery.
- Psychodynamic: Exploring underlying patterns and past experiences to illuminate present behaviour.
- Relational: Understanding the dynamics of your interpersonal relationships and their impact on your well-being.
- Transactional: Analyzing communication patterns to improve the quality of your relationships.
- Attachment: Looking at attachment styles to help foster more fulfilling connections.
- Trauma-informed: Recognizing the effects of trauma and ensuring that your safety remains a priority throughout our work together.
**Why Do I Do This?**
My curiosity about the human psyche is a natural one. I am fascinated by the sophistication of human beings, which fuels my dedication to this field. Both personal experiences and professional encounters have shown me the transformative power of therapy. Supporting others on their journeys toward healing and self-discovery is a privilege that I cherish.
The words of Edmund Wilson resonate deeply with me: "No two persons ever read the same book." This reflects my belief in the uniqueness of each individual's experience and therapeutic journey.
**Where I Offer Services**
I provide both online therapy and in-person sessions in various locations across Southwest London, including Wimbledon, Morden, New Malden, Clapham, and Sutton.
**When I Am Available**
I have availability on weekdays, with some flexible slots, and limited spaces on Saturdays and Sundays.
I offer a complimentary 15-minute call, as I believe it's essential for you to feel comfortable and confident in selecting the right therapist.

MBACP
Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
