I can offer you a safe and confidential space for you to explore your inner thoughts and feelings. A space free of judgement, open, and honest. A space for you to find words and express the things you may struggle to communicate in your everyday life, somewhere you can bring the things you find difficult to share.
I work in a way that is directed by you – the client. I don’t label or diagnose, I’m not here to tell you what your issues are, I am here to help you explore, learn, and grow through your experiences. I do this by creating a confidential, empathetic, non-judgmental, and honest environment for us to work together towards your personal growth.
Empathy is a key part in therapy. In life we often feel misunderstood and that our voices are not heard. I work with using my empathetic understanding of you and what you bring to the therapeutic relationship helping you gain a greater understanding and self-awareness. Please reach out for a free initial consultation or if you have any questions for me.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am a qualified counsellor and psychotherapist specialising in person centred therapy.
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy / Registered Member, MBACP: 00955557
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
