About me
Helping you navigate life’s challenges with more ease, resilience, and a deeper connection to your mind and body.
Welcome
We all go through times when life feels difficult and we need extra support. Many of us find ourselves overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected, anxious, burnt out, or struggling to cope in the ways we once could. Reaching out for support can feel daunting, but it can also be the beginning of understanding yourself differently and finding a way forward that feels more manageable.
Below is a little about how I work. If something here resonates with you, feel free to get in touch by email or book a free 20-minute introductory call.
How I Work
I aim to offer a warm, down-to-earth space where you can show up exactly as you are. Alongside my professional training, I bring my imperfect, human self into the room too. Therapy with me is collaborative, compassionate, and curious.
I work with people experiencing things such as:
- Anxiety and overwhelm
- Perfectionism and harsh self-criticism
- Relationship difficulties
- Low self-worth or never feeling quite “good enough”
- Trauma and difficult past experiences
- Emotional disconnection or feeling “stuck”
- Chronic pain or illness
- Life transitions such as perimenopause, menopause, relationship changes, empty nesting, and retirement.
Central to the way I work is the understanding that our minds and bodies aren't separate. We may look at the interplay between your nervous system, early attachments, and life experiences, exploring how these factors shape your emotions, behaviour, and physical well-being.
Together, we might:
- Explore patterns in your relationships and how your past experiences still affect you in the present.
- Become more aware of your body’s signals, sensations, and ways of responding.
- Build practical tools to help you navigate these difficult emotions.
- Develop more self-compassion and understanding toward yourself.
- Find ways to move toward a life that feels more meaningful, connected, and fulfilling.
As an integrative therapist, I draw from different approaches depending on what feels most helpful for you. I move away from a one-size-fits-all way of working. Therapy should feel personal, collaborative, and responsive to your individual needs.
How therapy can help
I don’t believe therapy is about becoming permanently calm or “fixed.” Life will always bring challenges. For me, therapy is about processing the experiences that have shaped you, understanding yourself more deeply, and building the capacity to navigate life’s challenges with greater awareness and self-compassion. Over time this often opens up the room needed for joy, connection, and the energy to engage with what matters most to you.
Starting therapy can feel like a big step, especially if it’s your first time reaching out. You’re welcome to contact me by email with any questions, or book a free 20-minute introductory call to see whether working together feels like the right fit.
I look forward to hearing from you.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

About Me & My Experience
I have been practicing as a therapist since 2013, and my experience spans across the NHS, the charity sector, Independent Foster Care and more recently, Private Practice. These diverse environments have shaped my approach and deepened my understanding of the many ways we navigate struggle.
While my initial academic training is in Psychology, I went on to train as a Counsellor and have subsequently broadened my skills by undertaking different therapeutic trainings. This allows me to combine a deep understanding of psychological theory with the practical elements needed to facilitate healing, change and growth.
I am a member of the BACP and work strictly within their ethical framework. I am deeply committed to the evolving fields of therapy and mind-body practices, regularly enhancing my work through continued professional development to ensure I can support you with the most current, trauma-informed care.
