Stephanie Roe, Bsc, ~Registered MBACP - True to Self Counselling & Supervision
Feeling down, anxious, stressed, angry or confused? Do you have something you would like to talk about in a relaxed, confidential, impartial and non-judgemental setting?
Welcome to True to Self Counselling, a private counselling practice operating from locations in Birstall and Mirfield, which are easily accessible from Huddersfield or Wakefield.
I provide you with the opportunity to explore your issues , to talk about your thoughts and feelings in an environment where you are treated with respect and empathic understanding. You will not be judged or told what to do. My role is to help you to become the person that you want to be; to help you make choices or changes that you want to make or to come to terms with things that can’t be changed to make life more tolerable. The aim is to put you back in control of your life.
The first session will be about trying to identify the issue(s) that you would like to work on and to see if we both feel we can work together. It is your decision how many sessions you feel that you need. We review your progress regularly. To get the most benefit, it is suggested that you attend weekly but we may reduce the frequency as you progress. I try to be as flexible as possible to meet my clients' needs. Sessions last for 50 minutes with 10 minutes for review and administration. Appointments can be at a regular time each week or by mutual arrangement.
If you feel I can help you and you would like to make an appointment or you would like further information, please contact Stephanie on 07810447183. For personal safety reasons I will not accept incoming calls where the number is withheld. If you wish to leave a message on voicemail, then please leave your number and I will return your call.
