About Me
I am an Integrative Therapist. I have a strong passion for supporting individuals in their self-discovery journey. I am an open-minded, non-judgmental and empathetic listener, and I provide a safe and supportive space for clients to help them gain insight into their thoughts, emotions and behaviours. I believe there is a reason behind every behaviour, and every internal and external reaction. My goal is to help clients step back, breathe and explore the source of their distress or unhappiness, and associated factors. Through this exploration, clients are able to look at the bigger picture and develop a different perspective. This, in turn, facilitates self-compassion and self-forgiveness. Many clients who come to therapy cannot move forward because their past is pulling them back. This so-called unfinished business is like a burden they had to carry for too long. To facilitate emotional healing and closure, I help clients address and work through unresolved issues, express emotions and thoughts that have built up over the years, and were never said aloud due to a fear of being misunderstood or rejected. This healing work provides a new understanding and acceptance of the self and others.
Last, but not least, I believe in people, in their extraordinary strength and abilities to thrive despite life’s setbacks.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

My Approach
I adopt an active and direct approach and draw on several therapeutic models. These include CBT, Gestalt, Transactional Analysis, Trauma-Focused CBT, Internal Family Systems, and Grief Therapy. I integrate these models and associated techniques to facilitate self-awareness and confidence in one’s own ability to create a life that we all deserve. I strongly believe that a personalised and well-timed approach is crucial for clients to get the most out of each session.
