About me
Hello and welcome to my page. I am a fully qualified, UKCP registered Senior Group Analyst & Psychotherapist & Supervisor aiming to support individuals, couples, and families who are experiencing difficulties and assist them in gaining a better awareness of their inner world. I am currently seeing all clients via online and phone sessions.
I have extensive experience with more than 20 years in various clinical settings (Family Action and IMECE Women’s Centre in the UK, Amita Mercy Medical Centre in the USA) and client-centred environments, notably within the National Health Service (NHS) in London to support different client groups.
Moving a lot throughout my life has enabled the experience of many different cultures, traditions, and values. Living, working, and studying in various countries and travelling to over 40 countries have helped me grow to be a culturally sensitive psychotherapist. I understand the difficulties that significant life challenges bring and would be happy to support clients during the transitional period. I invite clients from all backgrounds, ethnicities, cultures, identities, religions, disabilities, sexuality, age, and gender. I value difference and welcome everyone who would like to get support from my psychotherapy practice
I provide psychotherapy and counselling in English, Turkish and Macedonian.

How I work
My therapeutic approach is psychoanalytic informed by intercultural and transcultural concepts. I also have training in different approaches and thus, integrate these in my clinical practice. I often combine my psychoanalytic training with Eye-Movement Therapy (EMDR), Solution-Focused Therapy, Mindfulness and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) to meet the unique needs of my clients. My professional work and participation in different courses have enabled me to deal effectively with a wide range of client needs, colleagues, and management in a variety of settings. I have a strong commitment to provide effective psychotherapy service, and this has been displayed within the diverse roles I have undertaken.
I generally see clients once a week and sometimes more often if needed.

school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.
As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.
UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
