About me
Does anxiety feel like it’s always “on”? Like your mind never quite switches off, overthinking, worrying, and planning for every possible outcome, leaving you feeling exhausted? The constant pressure to hold it together while your mind won’t switch off. Even searching for a therapist can feel overwhelming; the indecisiveness kicks in and suddenly everything feels like too much.
What makes my work different is that I don’t expect you to have everything figured out before you start, you can come exactly as you are; uncertain, overwhelmed, or unsure where to begin- we'll make sense of it together.
I work with adults and couples who experience anxiety in many different ways; from a constant overthinking, to panic attacks, chronic stress, perfectionism, and anxiety in social or work situations. I also support people struggling with health anxiety, intrusive thoughts or images, and the exhausting mental loops that can make it hard to feel present, confident, or at ease in everyday life.
Anxiety doesn’t just stay in your head, it can affect your body, your self-esteem, your relationships, and how safe you feel in the world.
I also offer Couples Therapy. When one or both partners are anxious or overwhelmed, this can show up as distance, frustration, miscommunication, or feeling misunderstood. I help individuals and couples understand these patterns and gently work towards calmer, more connected ways of relating.
Together, we’ll slow things down, make sense of what’s happening beneath the surface, and develop simple and practical proven tools, that help you feel more in control, and more like yourself again.
Therapy with me is a warm, non-judgemental space where you don’t need to have the “right words” or a clear plan, just a willingness to begin.
And if I’m not the right fit, I won’t leave you stuck. As a private practice owner, I can help match you with a trusted therapist from my professional network, so you’re supported either way.
If you’d like, you’re welcome to get in touch to book a free initial call, even that first conversation can help things feel a little lighter.

Further information
Working through life's challenges is something we all experience, and it can leave us feeling overwhelmed and uncertain about how to cope. Asking for support during those times is more common than you might think, it's also an important step towards personal growth. In my practice, I provide a non-judgmental space where we can explore and work through your unique journey.
Together, we'll understand the causes of these challenges and work out what is keeping you feeling stuck. We'll look at your thoughts, emotions, and behaviours to help us explore how you can respond to situations in a more helpful way. With the right knowledge and strategies, you can experience a life with less stress, anxiety, and overwhelm.
Our minds have a huge influence on us. We need to take care of them just like any other part of our body.
I am experienced in supporting adults dealing with mood and anxiety problems. I offer Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), an evidence-based approach that focuses on identifying and challenging unhelpful thinking patterns and behaviours. CBT isn't just talking therapy; it's also about doing. Together, we will set goals and work through strategies tailored to your needs. We will work together across 8-20 sessions.
Common problems I help people with include depression, anxiety, panic, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), social anxiety, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), among other common mental health difficulties. I have experience in adapting therapy for people with learning needs and neurodiversity.
I also offer Behavioural Couples Therapy, this is a collaborative approach for individuals in committed relationships, addressing common mental health challenges together with their partners. It aims to foster the healthiest and most positive relationships.
Through Behavioural Couples Therapy, partners learn how to support one another in coping with depression and anxiety, develop and enhance coping strategies, and address relationship concerns related to anxiety and depression.
I am dedicated to empowering individuals to not just manage their difficulties but also thrive in life. If you are motivated and keen to understand the patterns you are in, then we can work together to develop coping skills and make changes so that your difficulties impact less on your daily life and allow you to move forward and live the life you want.
