About us

I am an experienced, professionally qualified counsellor dealing with modern-day mental health issues in East London and online.

I work across a range of issues, including anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, confidence, stress, trauma, family issues, relationships, dating, sex, loneliness, career and life changes.

During weekly one-to-one sessions, we can work through your struggles with modern-day life, supporting you to gain more understanding of the underlying issues related to your difficulties.

Together, we can work towards giving you more direction and purpose in your life, developing a better relationship with yourself and others, encouraging personal growth and self-acceptance.

  • You are in the midst of a crisis, having trouble coping with life, thoughts, and feelings are becoming overwhelming
  • Low mood, suicidal thoughts,  asking yourself "what's the point", lacking purpose, meaning and fulfilment in life

  • Having difficulties navigating dating, sex, and forming new relationships
  • Feeling stuck, you need a change, but don’t know what that is or how to achieve it
  • Experiencing feelings of loneliness, isolation and lacking a sense of belonging
  • Recently come out of a relationship or job, loss, grief, life changes

Training, qualifications & experience

I hold a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychosynthesis Counselling (Level 7) accredited by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).

I have a vast amount of clinical experience. My therapeutic work is an integrated approach, taking influence from different counselling models, including CBT, psychodynamic, person-centred, humanistic, gestalt and attachment theory, using what tools and techniques I feel appropriate to suit each client's needs.

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

If a Counsellor's premises aren't step-free, they may offer alternative services such as telephone/web-based appointments, home visits, or meeting clients in different location, so you can choose the option that suits you best.
