About me

Trying to find someone who can help with whatever problem or issue you have may seem daunting. We all need help at different times in our lives for a variety of reasons and sometimes just talking to our loved ones or friends is either not possible or feels uncomfortable. I offer long or short-term integrative, person-centred therapy. My work is based on my relationship with my clients; using empathy and building rapport enables them to work through their issue at their own pace, whatever the problem, whether it is a traumatic event from the past or a more recent issue, or one that they have been living with all their lives.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am a fully qualified Person-Centered Therapeutic Counsellor, but have also been trained in NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) and am a qualified NLP Master Practitioner and Coach. I am also a qualified Clinical Hypnotherapist, so my work is integrative and I have a wide variety of tools which I use to help each individual in the best way possible for them.

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

You can contact the counsellor to discuss the options available.
