About me

Are you trying to find someone who can help with whatever problem or issue you may have? I offer long or short-term integrative therapy, rooted in my person-centred training. My work is based on developing a therapeutic relationship with my clients; using empathy and developing rapport with you enables you to work through your issue at your own pace, whatever the problem, whether it is a traumatic event from the past or a more recent issue, or one that you have been living with all your life. We all need help at different times in our lives for a variety of reasons and sometimes just talking to our loved ones or friends is either not possible or feels uncomfortable. Working with someone outside of your normal circle enables you to explore what is going on for you in a safe, non-judgemental environment.  Loving and appreciating yourself is key to being able to move on and in time you will find your inner peace and your own life path.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am a fully qualified Person-Centred Therapeutic Counsellor, but have also been trained in NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) and am a qualified NLP Master Practitioner and Coach. I am also a Clinical Hypnotherapist. I am currently studying for a Level 5 Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling. All of my training means that I have a wide variety of tools which I can draw on to help you.

Member organisations

BACP

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
