About me
I am an Integrative Counsellor offering a private counselling service, either face-to-face, in East Devon, or online, to adults (18 years and over).
I offer a trusting, safe, non-judgemental, supportive and confidential space for you to explore whatever thoughts or feelings that may be causing you distress, unhappiness or confusion.
The help of the right therapist can reduce emotional suffering, improve relationships and promote awareness and empowerment. If you feel after browsing my website that I may be the right therapist for you, please do get in touch.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Further information
As an integrative therapist, I aim to tailor your therapy to you. I put you at the centre of our work together, drawing on a variety of modalities in order to discover what works for you.
I draw mainly on the principles of the Person-Centred approach, and believe that people have the ability to work towards their own self-fulfilment. You are the expert of your own world.
I work in a collaborative and relational way and believe that you have the strength and resources to bring about change. It is my role, and my privilege, to help you along this journey.
Having accessed long term counselling myself, I am aware that it takes courage to begin the therapy process. I have also discovered a great deal about how to learn from suffering, and am passionate about empowering you to find your own journey and discover your authentic self.
You are deserving of acceptance and understanding. You deserve to be heard.
