About me

Therapy with me begins with compassionate curiosity in who you are, what you need and what’s happening for you right now. As an experienced therapist working with individuals and all relationship dynamics I work hard to guide you to an emotionally safe, strong and connected place with research based strategies and deep empathy. We will create goals that meet your need;, find safety in change; gently walk through what brings you here, and deepen your relationship with you, and others. I offer safe and confidential sessions in person and online from my office in the beautiful town of St Andrews, Fife. A complimentary 20 minute Zoom session to meet me and discuss your needs is always available as part of your search for the right therapist for you.  Working together, and from a trauma informed perspective,  I can will support your understanding of what has happened to you. My specialism is in relationship therapy and I work with couples, ENM, polyamorous relationships and families. Building communication skills that enable you to feel seen, understood, self advocate, and hear without fear is a big part of the work I do. I work successfully and knowledgeably with neurodivergent relationships.

As a supervisor I work from a pluralistic modality drawing on feminist and 7 eyed model theories to guide my work with you inside, online and outside. I am a qualified eco supervisor. My role as a supervisor is to work collaboratively with you, the ever journeying professional, and support your work, professional goals and needs, and create space for challenge and growth in the way you want to. I love my role as a supervisor and enjoy the interaction around theory and practice combining for the well-being of your clients.

Please feel free to connect with me by phone, email or social media.

Areas of counselling I deal with

Other areas of counselling I deal with

My main area of expertise is in relationships, and I work with the subtle and challenging use of language that disconnects us from ourselves, and others we are in relationship with. I have a special professional interest in the use of micro aggressions embedded in language that are discreet triggers in relationships.
