About me

I'm Anna, a qualified and experienced therapist and supervisor working compassionately with individuals and couples/relationships to discover empowering strategies to support the changes you want to make in your life, and the unique needs you have around them, with compassion and empathy. I offer safe and confidential sessions in person, online and outside in the beautiful area of St Andrews, Fife. A complimentary 20 minute Zoom session to meet me and discuss your needs is always available as part of your search for the right therapist for you. As a therapist I work relationally and from a trauma informed perspective to support your understanding of what is hard for you right now.  I work with the bereaved, LGBTQIA+ community, neurodivergence and complex trauma inc CPTSD., and have lived experience of these themes. Additional training in relationship therapy, relationships and Neurodivergence, child loss and Eco Supervision has been undertaken.

As a supervisor I work from a pluralistic modality drawing on feminist and 7 eyed model theories to guide my work with you inside, online and outside. I am a qualified eco supervisor and utilise my former teaching career to offer CPD for individuals, groups and charities/companies. My role as a supervisor is to work collaboratively with you, the ever journeying professional, and support your work, professional goals and needs, and create space for challenge and growth in the way you want to. I love my role as a supervisor and enjoy the interactions around theory and practice combining for the well-being of your clients.

Please feel free to connect with me by phone, email or social media.

Other areas of counselling I deal with

I have worked with many different people who bring a wide range of issues and concerns to the therapy room. I use a broad set of tools and theories to respond to these and feel that being able to hold the deepest, most difficult parts of us is the most valuable of gifts I can give someone in distress. All of you is welcome, whatever that may be, however hard, dark or confusing. I will use my lived experience, skills and professional training to support you through these times.
