About me
I believe that talking to a trained, professional counsellor in a safe, confidential place can help you to understand why you are struggling to cope with modern life challenges.
You might not understand what you are feeling or why? You hear words such as Anxiety, Depression, ADHD but you don’t know what it means for you and what to do. You are considering medication but unsure if that is the right choice.
I helped already many clients to understand themselves and to find their unique way to move forward.
I offer Psychodynamic counselling which means that drilling down in your personal history, perhaps visiting places in your past you might hardly remember. Together we identify pieces of your “own self” before we can put them back together and face your pressing issues of today. It is a process which might be difficult at times, but I will be there to guide you.
I’m there as an unbiased “other” person who can facilitate the making sense of things that are difficult for you to do alone.
Every counselling session is unique and there is no homework or preparation involved. You simply need to turn up and be truly yourself.
I offer both open ended and short term counselling.
I have extensive experience conducting sessions on line. I often combine or alternate online sessions with face-to-face ones. My experience is that this hybrid way works for many clients.

I am an experienced Psychodynamic counsellor; in my work I mainly use the principles of psychotherapy. Currently I'm working towards BACP (British Association of Psychotherapy and Counselling) accreditation.
I have built my broad counselling experience through working for a mental health charity for several years and also my private practice.
In recent years, I attended several post-qualification trainings including Short term therapy, Understanding ADHD, Working with Eating disorders, Understanding Burnout, Replacement child.
I am also a Doctor of Pharmacy. Understanding how drugs work, helps me to find the balance between modern, scientific advances (such as medication) and deeper emotional well-being provided by counselling.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

My usual fee is £50 per session.
I offer discounted rate of 40£ for clients who agree to work in hybrid setting meaning combining or alternating in person and online sessions depending on availabilities.
I charge £25 to students and pensioners.
