About me
I’m a qualified counsellor based at Converge Therapy in Welwyn Garden City. I offer a calm, confidential and non-judgmental space where you can explore whatever feels difficult or confusing right now. Our sessions can take place in person, online or over the phone — whichever feels most comfortable for you.
My approach is open-ended, meaning there’s no set time limit — we can work together for as long as you find it helpful. Each week, counselling offers you time and space to focus on you: to reflect, understand yourself more deeply, and begin to see patterns or roots of your current feelings and experiences. Together, we’ll work towards greater clarity, self-awareness, and emotional wellbeing.
You may be feeling overwhelmed, anxious, lonely, or uncertain about your relationships or work. Perhaps you’re struggling with low confidence, trust issues, trauma, depression, or loss. Whatever brings you here, you’ve already taken an important first step by considering counselling.
Counselling can help when life feels confusing or stuck — offering a space to untangle your thoughts, make sense of your experiences, and move towards understanding and change at your own pace.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
