About me

Hello, my name is Angie and I am a fully qualified person-centred counsellor registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (408398).

I have experience working with individual clients in various settings and offer a person centred approach where the client and their uniqueness is at the centre of the therapy. If you are experiencing any difficulties or wish to make changes to your life I offer a safe, warm, grounded and non judgemental space where you can talk openly and be truly heard. It is my belief that each and every one of us has the inner capacity for growth, healing and change when they are offered the right environment to safely explore their thoughts and feelings.

As a person-centred counsellor my role is to support and guide you to develop a better understanding of yourself by exploring the areas of life that are causing you issues. The aim is to enhance your emotional wellbeing and give you the confidence to make any changes that you feel are necessary to your life. I currently have some availability for new clients so if this sounds like the help that you need please reach out to me by phone or email to arrange an introductory 30 minute session free of charge where we can discuss working together.

Alongside counselling I also work with energy healing and recognise the connection between emotional , mental and physical wellbeing. I work holistically, gently and intuitively and am always led by you, the client.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
