About me

Welcome, and thank you for visiting my profile.

If you’re here, chances are something in your life feels overwhelming, confusing, or hard to manage right now. You might be feeling stuck, anxious, or sad—or maybe you’re carrying guilt, stress, or self-doubt that feels too heavy to bear on your own.

Perhaps you’ve lost someone you love and are finding it difficult to cope with the sadness or guilt of unspoken words.

Maybe you’re stuck in worry—about money, the future, or how to keep going when life feels so heavy. Whatever you’re going through, I want you to know that support is here.

In therapy with me, you’ll find a safe, non-judgmental space to explore the things that are troubling you. This is your opportunity to focus on you—your feelings, your struggles, and the changes you want to make. Together, we can work on helping you feel calmer, more in control, and better equipped to deal with life’s challenges.

Whatever brings you here, I want you to know you’re not alone, and I’m here to help.

As a fully qualified and experienced counsellor, registered with the BACP, I’ve worked with many people facing a wide variety of challenges. In therapy, we’ll work together to make sense of what’s going on in your life and find ways to help you feel better.

I offer you: a better understanding of your feelings and behaviors, helping you to recognize unhelpful patterns like overthinking, self-criticism, or catastrophizing.

Practical tools and strategies to manage stress, reduce anxiety, and feel more in control of your life.

Space to process grief or sadness, allowing you to honor your feelings and move forward with greater peace.

Support to build your self-esteem and develop a kinder, more compassionate relationship with yourself.

Help in dealing with anger, so you can express yourself in a way that feels healthy and constructive.

If you’re struggling with stress—whether from work, relationships, or everyday life—I’ll help you explore what’s at the root of it and how to find balance. If you’re worried about the future or feel stuck in cycles of fear or guilt, we’ll work on reframing those thoughts and building a sense of calm and hope.

We all go through times when life feels like too much, but I truly believe we all have the potential to thrive, even in difficult circumstances.

Therapy is a chance to reconnect with your strengths, make sense of your experiences, and create positive changes in your life.

Change isn’t always easy, but it’s possible—and you don’t have to do it alone. I’ll be here to support you, gently and at your pace, as you take the steps toward the life you want to live.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information

My Journey: What Led Me to Become a CounsellorIn my own journey with therapy, I discovered the incredible power of being fully accepted as I am. For the first time, I felt that it was okay to express my sadness, to cry, or even to complain without feeling guilty or “too much.” I didn’t have to be strong all the time—I could simply be myself. That experience taught me how transformative it can be to connect with your authentic self, to feel understood, and to start asking important questions like, What do I want from my life?

Through this challenging yet deeply positive and transformative experience, I also came to realise the importance of the therapeutic relationship itself—the presence of another person, a therapist, who figuratively held my hand and walked alongside me. Their steady, supportive presence made all the difference.

I believe that everyone deserves to be heard and accepted without judgment. I understand how hard it can be to share your struggles, but I also know how empowering it is to feel truly seen and understood. My goal as a counsellor is to create a space where you feel safe to explore your thoughts and emotions at your own pace, where you can reconnect with your inner self and start building the life you want.

Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure about the future, I am here to help you navigate those feelings. Together, we can work through challenges, gain clarity, and discover tools that empower you to make meaningful changes in your life.

Therapy isn’t about fixing you—because you are not broken. It’s about finding yourself, understanding your needs, and creating a life that feels more aligned with who you truly are. I’m here to walk that path with you.
