About me

I’m Andrew, an integrative psychotherapist supporting people experiencing anxiety, workplace stress, burnout, relationship difficulties (with partners, family or friends), low mood and depression. Many of the people I work with are professionals experiencing the pressures of demanding working environments, challenging work relationships, or the emotional toll of sustained stress. I work in Wimbledon (SW19) and Clapham (SW4), London and online.

You might be feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or stuck in patterns you can’t seem to change. Perhaps relationships feel difficult or the pressure of work and life has left you feeling burnt out. Starting therapy can feel like a big step, especially if you’re used to coping on your own.

I offer a calm, supportive space where you can speak openly and without judgement. Together we can explore what's going on beneath the surface, begin to understand the patterns that may be holding you back and develop helpful ways of coping and relating to yourself and others. My integrative approach means I draw on different therapeutic perspectives depending on each person’s needs.

Before becoming a therapist, I spent over 20 years working in corporate and not‑for‑profit HR. This gave me a deep understanding of the pressures of working life, and how sustained stress can leave you feeling anxious, depleted, or emotionally distant from yourself and others.

I offer a space that contrasts with these environments, one that is non-judgemental and not focused on performance. A place where you can pause and reflect, make sense of what you’re experiencing, and move towards meaningful change.

You’re welcome to get in touch if you have any questions or would like to arrange a free 20-minute initial conversation.

I aim to reply to messages within 24 hours.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
