About me

If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected — you’re not alone. Life can be difficult to make sense of at times, especially when we don’t feel able to open up to the people around us. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, low mood, past trauma or relationship struggles, therapy can offer the space to explore things safely and begin to feel more in control.

I aim to offer a calm, supportive and non-judgemental space where you can feel truly heard. Together, we’ll explore what’s going on for you — past and present — and help you gain new insight into your thoughts, feelings and patterns. My goal is to support you in working towards meaningful, lasting change.

As an integrative therapist, I draw from a range of approaches and adapt our work to suit you as an individual. No two clients are the same, and I aim to keep our work responsive, flexible and grounded in what feels helpful for you.

Before training as a therapist, I spent 20 years working with individuals from a wide range of backgrounds. My experience includes supporting people with anxiety, depression, substance use, relationship issues, anger, and mental health challenges. I also worked closely with people around behaviour change, emotional regulation, and understanding their own thought/feeling patterns.

As a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy, I adhere to their ethical and practice guidelines, keep up to date with new research, undertake regular further training in my professional development and attend supervision.  I hold a clear, enhanced Criminal Records Bureau check.

I offer a free 30-minute phone consultation so we can talk about what brings you to therapy and see if we’re a good fit. You’ll have space to ask questions and get a sense of how I work.

I have experience of working with a range of issues including, but not limited to: depression, anxiety, self-esteem and low self worth, family issues, trauma, challenging childhood experiences, bereavement, OCD, stress, relationship problems and patterns of relating, guilt, shame, self harm and suicidal feelings.

I work both in person and online offering short and long term counselling and psychotherapy. I offer counselling in Farnham and Guildford. I am easily accessible from Camberley, Farnborough, Fleet, Aldershot, Lightwater, Sandhurst, Basingstoke, Godalming, Woking, Liphook and Bordon. I offer a comfortable, private and purpose built therapeutic space for us to meet in.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
