Andrea English MBPsS, PGDip, BSc
I work with a range of needs from simply having a desire to discover more about yourself and how you are in the world, to feelings of anxiety, depression, dealing with loss and change, relationship worries, unfulfilled potential and stuckness.
I am an integrative practitioner, which means that I call upon a range of therapies to help support my work with you, including Humanistic, Attachment-based and Psychodynamic psychotherapies. I offer evidence-based relational practice and as research evidence suggests, the relationship between you and your therapist is key, so it’s important to take the time to choose someone who feels right for you.
I offer one to one sessions in person. Sessions via skype or telephone are also possible, if appropriate, and after an initial period meeting in person. Sessions are primarily weekly and can be short, medium or long term depending on your needs.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am an Integrative Psychological Therapist and Senior Trainee Psychologist & Clinical Psychotherapist.
I have over a decade of experience working with young people and adults who have concerns about their mental health and more general every day worries and concerns, where a place to sit and talk for a while, with someone who will not judge and is not connected to their everyday lives, is needed.
- Doctorate in Counselling Psychology & Psychotherapy - final year (Metanoia Institute)
- Diploma in Integrative Psychodynamic Counselling (Metanoia Institute)
- BSc (Hons) Psychology (Kingston University)
