About me
I am an NCS accredited therapist offering individual and couples therapy to adults and young people. I am based in Felixstowe, in a homely therapy room with a view of the sea. I also offer sessions online via Skype, Zoom and WhatsApp, or by phone.
My approach is person-centred, which means that I will attune to and respect your experience, and your process, and will hold space for you and follow you as you work through things at your own pace. My aim is to connect with you where you are on your journey, through acceptance and empathy, and with authenticity.
I have a wide range of experience, both professional and personal, and can offer you a therapeutic relationship that facilitates your personal healing and growth, as defined by you.
I have experience of working with a broad range of challenges and difficulties, including anxiety, depression, suicidal thoughts and feelings, loss and grief, abuse and trauma (including domestic abuse and childhood abuse), loneliness, stress, and many more.
It is natural to want to want to reach out and talk to someone at difficult times. Therapy can also be useful in the good times, and I also work with people who are pursuing personal or spiritual growth.
If you would like more information about me, about how I work, or just about therapy, you are more than welcome to get in touch with me by phone or via the 'email me' button above, or you can email me direct at amydann.therapy@gmail.com, or you can reach me on 07816 273 907.
