About me
Are you suffering from low self esteem? Feeling stuck in cycles of negative thinking? Or gripped with anxiety that stops you living the life you want?
I can help you notice your patterns and take control of your emotions. I will support you on a journey of self discovery and bring awareness to the unconscious processes which may be driving your thoughts, feelings and behaviours.
Together we will look at the relationships that have shaped who you are in the world and we may challenge some of the stories you have been told about yourself.
Together we will seek to learn who you really are.
My style is warm, compassionate, and non-judgemental. I use an integrative approach which means I draw from different psychotherapeutic models and techniques to work with you in a way that best suits your unique needs.
I have been a psychotherapist for over a decade but remain as enthralled today as I was at the beginning. It is my privilege to witness so many incredible journeys of discovery and remarkable change.
Prior to becoming a therapist, I held a snr role in the corporate world so understand the pressures of a professional career and the challenges of maintaining a work persona that is at odds with an authentic self.
I am a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy and abide by its ethical framework for good practice.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

I offer a free 20 min introductory Zoom call to help you learn more about me and how I work. The therapeutic relationship is central to the work so it is really useful to see if the chemistry feels right and for you to feel confident about beginning the process with me.
