About me

I support individuals navigating challenging events, relationship difficulties, low mood, burnout, anxiety and other life challenges. By creating an environment of curiosity, exploration, reflection, and growth, I aim to help them untangle the patterns that may be holding them back.

I am an integrative therapist, mainly drawing on attachment and psychodynamic approaches and EMDR. I am passionate about providing approaches that integrate neuroscience and modern mental health techniques with traditional talk therapy.

Grounded in understanding each person's unique experience and perspective, my style is collaborative and practical, with a gently challenging, honest approach.

If you are ready to explore and work towards meaningful lasting change, let’s talk.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am an Accredited  BACP psychotherapist.

As an integrative psychotherapist with specialist training in attachment-based therapy, I help clients explore how early relationship patterns influence present-day challenges, relationships, and emotional well-being.

Drawing on evidence-based approaches and a deep understanding of neuroscience and attachment dynamics, I can support you as we work together to unpack your story without judgement and to empower you to identify what you need to live the life you want.

I am also an EMDR-trained practitioner and EMDR-informed coach. Before becoming a therapist, I had a long career in healthcare as a senior clinical nurse.

NCPS
National Counselling & Psychotherapy Society (NCPS)

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
