About me

Many of the people I work with are coping on the outside. Underneath, something doesn't feel right.

They might feel anxious, low, or easily overwhelmed. They might struggle with self-doubt, a harsh inner critic, or a pattern of putting everyone else first. They can see these things in themselves but can't seem to shift them, and that's exhausting.

Often these patterns make complete sense when you understand where they came from. That's where we start.

What I offer

I offer trauma-informed therapy for adults dealing with anxiety, low mood, depression, low self-esteem, anger, and the lasting effects of difficult experiences. You don't need a diagnosis to begin, and you don't need to have had an obviously traumatic life for this work to be relevant to you.

I work in an integrative way, drawing on modalities such as CBT, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Inner Child Work, and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). In practice this means we work to understand the patterns that are keeping you stuck, where they came from, and what can actually change.

I won't just listen. I'll help you make sense of what's happening, develop practical tools, and build a kinder, more grounded relationship with yourself.

What to expect

Sessions are collaborative and move at a pace that feels manageable. You are always in control of what you share and when.

I'm best suited to clients who are open to reflecting on their experiences and willing to try things differently, not just in sessions, but in everyday life too.

Practical details

I work with adults, offering individual 1:1 sessions,

online and in person in East Kilbride, South Lanarkshire.

Sessions are £60 in person and £50 online. I offer a free 20-minute phone consultation so you can get a sense of whether this feels like the right fit before committing. I have no current waiting list.

If you're not sure whether therapy is right for you, or whether what you're experiencing is significant enough to bring, it is. Reach out and we'll figure it out together.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

• What happens when we feel overwhelmed
• Anxiety & overthinking
• Sleep & daily rhythms
• Low mood & unhelpful thinking patterns
• Boundaries & self-awareness

This is not a therapy or sharing group. There is no expectation to speak about personal experiences. The focus is on learning and applying tools in your own time.
