About me

Have you experienced or watched loved ones suffer with anger, anxiety, overwhelm, depression, suicidal thoughts or self harm? You're not alone. We all need space and time to talk and process our life's experiences. Whether it's a complex issue, an upheaval, a change or you simply need some 'me' time to talk things through then counselling can help.

I offer a safe, supportive and nurturing place to help you examine and express your thoughts and feelings. It's a space just for you, to explore and reflect upon the challenges which have brought you to seek support.

Embarking on a counselling journey can be scary. Choosing a counsellor can be scary. It’s really important that you feel comfortable with the counsellor you choose, it has to fit well with you. I offer a free 15 minute telephone consultation to discuss any concerns or ask any questions. If after you decide you would like to begin counselling with me, we can agree on a time and day. Please feel free to get in touch if you would like an initial call.

I warmly welcome people from all walks of life.

I'm a Registered and Accredited member of the NCPS and NCPS CYPT (Children and Young People’s Therapist).

I'm also a qualified Clinical Supervisor and can offer supervision online or in person. Please get in touch for more information.

Training, qualifications & experience

I’m a fully qualified and experienced Integrative Counsellor/Psychotherapist. I'm also a qualified Supervisor.

Although I have trained in many modalities, my core training is in Person-Centred therapy. This assumes that we are all unique individuals who instinctively know what is needed in order to thrive. I may use a variety of therapeutic techniques to help understand your concerns, but you are the expert in knowing what’s best for you. You may just need a bit of support and guidance to help you find your solutions.

I have experience working in diverse settings with people of all ages, different cultures and struggling with a range of issues including: sight loss, cultural displacement, grief/bereavement, miscarriage, trauma, anxiety, depression, sexual/emotional abuse, self-esteem, bullying, body image, avoidant personality disorders and relationship issues.
