About me

Now accepting new clients for 2026. I am an experienced Integrative Counsellor with 28 years of NHS experience, offering a warm, trauma-informed space for adults to navigate life’s heaviest challenges. Clients often come to me feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected as they carry the weight of anxiety, unresolved trauma, grief, or burnout.

You don't need to wait for a crisis to seek help. Working collaboratively and at your own pace, I draw on a range of effective therapeutic approaches, including Person-Centred, Psychodynamic, and Somatic techniques, to support your unique journey. My aim is to help you process what’s weighing you down and reconnect with your inner strength, resilience, and sense of self.

I offer both in-person sessions in Paisley, Renfrewshire and flexible online counselling to suit your needs. Contact me today for a free initial consultation to discuss how we can start this healing work together.

This is your invitation to stop carrying it all alone. The bravest step is asking for help and it’s okay to start small. If this speaks to you, I’d be honoured to support you.

Training, qualifications & experience

I’m a qualified integrative counsellor, trained to work with a range of therapeutic approaches including person-centred, psychodynamic, somatic, and mindfulness-based techniques. This allows me to tailor therapy to each individual, depending on their needs, preferences, and pace.

My training includes a Diploma in Counselling, alongside ongoing professional development in areas such as trauma-informed practice, grief and loss, emotional regulation, and nervous system support. I’m committed to deepening my understanding through regular supervision and continued learning.

I have experience working with adults facing a wide variety of challenges, including anxiety, depression, bereavement, burnout, relationship difficulties, and life transitions. I also support clients who feel stuck, disconnected, or unsure of their direction, helping them reconnect with their inner resources and sense of self.

I’m a registered member of a professional body NCPS, and I adhere to their ethical framework to ensure safe, respectful, and confidential practice.

Crucially, I bring 28 years of professional experience working within the NHS (including extensive time in mental health services). This extensive background provides me with a grounded and practical understanding of health, life pressures, and complex organisational issues like work-related stress and professional burnout.

I am committed to continued professional development in areas such as Trauma-Informed Practice, emotional regulation, and nervous system support, ensuring my approach is always current and effective for my clients.
