About me

Welcome!

I’m Alice, an integrative counsellor with the person centred focus, utilising a variety of psychological approaches to help you.

My speciality are women however, I sometimes work with male clients in need of a female therapist.

I offer 30 min Free Consultation, for all new clients, as a chance to see if we are a good fit.

Focus of my work is on anxiety, depression, self-esteem, help with narcissistic parents and family/relationship systems. I have an experience with ADHD and autistic spectrum. Instead of being a common fixer of many problems, I provide my clients with specialised experience and support in the areas of my expertise.

My clients often come to me with self doubt, nervousness, fear of taking action, fluctuating moods, chaotic mind, issues in connections/relationships with other people, or dealing with narcissistic personalities within their family.

Reach out and I will be happy to answer any of your questions, listen to your concerns and accommodate your needs as much as possible.

My belief is that each person is unique and deserves custom made approach. I create a space where anyone can feel safe, is able to speak freely without the fear of judgement, where life changing discoveries are made and positive changes can take place. I respect and value all my clients as humans, love to see them happy and thriving.

I am a registered member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists and I work according to their Code of Practice.

Training, qualifications & experience

I hold a Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling, a degree in Psychology and Criminology, currently broadening my knowledge in the neuroscience of mental health and women’s health. I regularly attend training on anxiety/depression, attachment, family connections/issues, ADHD and autism to keep up to date. My previous experience involved working with children, adults, the elderly, refugees, homeless, veterans, BDSM practitioners, survivors of abuse, people with neurodegenerative conditions and victims of crimes. I work with ADHD and autistic adult clients as well.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
