Ali Carnegie MBACP
I offer in-person and online counselling (video, voice-only, email and Instant Messaging) to adults in a safe, non-judgmental space from my base at Moggerhanger Park in Bedfordshire, UK. I offer help with a variety of issues including anxiety, depression, relationship/family issues, stress management, self esteem, panic attacks, and more. I work with individuals locally and internationally and am currently available during weekday mornings and afternoons (GMT).
I am an integrative counsellor with a person-centred and psychodynamic core training. I use additional approaches/tools to suit each client that I work with, including gestalt, jungian theory, mindfulness, transactional analysis and motivational interviewing.
For more information on how online counselling works please have a look at my website www.modern-therapy.uk, and please get in touch with any questions you may have.
I have worked as a counsellor in NHS, university and private healthcare settings, and in prison and community settings as a drugs and alcohol practitioner.
I offer both short and long term counselling, and will soon be offering one-off online wellbeing and support sessions for clients who are unable to access regular counselling but require ad hoc emotional support.

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
