About me
Welcome to Choose YOU therapy.
I began this journey to become a therapist that supports individuals to make a positive change in their lives and a place to be heard. I offer both short and long term sessions from my home in Andover, Hampshire. I work both in-person and online depending on what you prefer.
I work as person centred therapist which means YOU are at the heart of the sessions and we will work together in a way that suits you as an individual. I offer a safe space to allow you to explore your thoughts, feelings and beliefs without judgement.
I work with a range of different life experiences and offer a 20 minute free, no obligation phone call to see if we can work together on your journey. I like to use this time to find out your reason for looking into therapy but also for you to see if you think we could work well together. Choosing to go to therapy can be a big step and it is important for you to find the right therapist to be by your side on your journey.
I have experience working with children and young adults from working at Time2Talk as well as working as carer in the community for many years which allowed me to see the challenges that people of all ages may be facing.
If you feel this is the place for you, please feel to contact me via email or by phone to discuss further.

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
