Session Offerings
I offer in person sessions at Newborough Village Hall.Disabled access,toilets and car parking available.I offer walk-and-talk therapy session in the rural location of Newborough,alongside video, and telephone counselling sessions.
Daytime, evening, and limited Sunday sessions are available. Sessions can be weekly or fortnightly to assist with affordability.

About Me
I bring over 20 years of experience supporting individuals across various settings, including the NHS and the prison service. My background includes:
- 6 years as a drug and alcohol worker and self-harm/suicide risk assessor
- 8 years supporting individuals affected by cancer
- 2 years volunteering with Cruse Bereavement Support, where I received specialist training in grief counselling. I work with a diverse client base and am passionate about helping people grow and find their way forward.

Training, qualifications & experience
- BA Hons Degree in Therapeutic Counselling and Psychotherapy.
- British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapist Certificate (BACP) of Proficiency.
- BACP Member (MBACP)
- Cruse Bereavement training.
- Level 5 HE Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling.
- Level 3 Counselling Skills.
- Level 2 Basic Counselling Skills.
Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information
I have completed Cruse Bereavement training, supporting people through their grief and loss. Grief presents in various ways and can have a crippling impact on people. Loss of love, loss of identity, loss of future plans, and more.
I have experience of counselling people who have been affected by cancer and many years experience and knowledge of cancer and the affects of cancer. A cancer diagnosis can lead to questions, anger, guilt, loss of identity, anxiety and repeated episodes of experiencing unknown territory.
I have 19 years of experience of supporting various people who self harm, express suicidal thoughts and I have supported people who have lost people through sudden deaths.
