About me
Counselling is more than a profession for me - it is a calling. I believe that being truly heard, understood, and accepted can make a profound difference when life feels difficult. My aim is to walk alongside you as you navigate your life experiences, offering a warm, authentic and accepting space to explore what you are going through. Together, we can develop greater awareness and understanding of yourself, your experiences, and your relationships, supporting you towards healing and meaningful change.
I bring my own lived experience to my work as a counsellor. As a mixed-race woman, a mum in a neurodivergent family and someone who has worked and lived abroad as well as in the UK, I understand some of the complexities around identity, belonging, difference, change and new beginnings. These experiences have reinforced for me the value of genuine connection, compassion and feeling supported.
My approach is integrative, drawing from Person-Centred Therapy, Gestalt Therapy and Transactional Analysis. I value that everyone is different, and I don't believe therapy should be a one-size-fits-all approach. Instead, I adapt the way we work together to your experiences and needs.
Training, qualifications & experience
My journey into counselling began with a BSc (Hons) in Psychology, followed by a CPCAB Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling. I am a BACP Registered Counsellor (MBACP) and committed to continuing my professional development to provide safe, ethical, and compassionate support.
I have experience and interest in supporting adults with:
- Anxiety, depression and feelings of overwhelm
- Grief, loss and life changes
- Fertility, IVF and pregnancy loss
- Relationship challenges and self-esteem
- Neurodivergence and identity
- Bullying and feeling different
- Trauma and difficult life experiences
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information
I offer in-person counselling in a comfortable, accessible private space at Sugarford House, South Bar Street in Banbury on Fridays, with morning, afternoon and evening sessions available, and Saturday mornings between 9am to 1pm.
Online counselling sessions are also available on other days, subject to availability.
The length of counselling can be different for everyone. Some Clients may find that a few sessions are enough to work through a particular concern, while others may benefit from longer-term support. We can regularly review how you are finding counselling and what feels right for you.
