About me
I am a fully qualified person-centred counsellor working with adults, offering a warm, supportive and confidential space where you can talk freely about whatever is on your mind. My approach is humanistic and non-directive, meaning our sessions go at the pace which feels right for you, with care, compassion and without judgement.
Wherever you are in your journey, we will work together to help you explore your experiences, make sense of what you’re feeling, and develop a deeper understanding of your true self.
I have a strong commitment to diversity and inclusivity and am an LGBTQIA+ affirming counsellor. I offer a space where your identity is respected, valued and fully accepted, allowing you to feel safe, heard, and supported to be your authentic self.
I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), fully insured, and GDPR compliant, so you can feel confident that you are working with a professional who values ethical, safe and confidential practice.
Taking the first step towards counselling can feel daunting, but you don’t have to do it alone. If you’re considering counselling and would like to know more, I welcome you to get in touch.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information
I will offer you a warm therapeutic space where you can explore anything you would like to.
Together we can shine a light on parts of your life, in a safe, non-judgmental and gentle environment, to help you gain a deeper understanding of your life experiences.
Our initial session lasts 50 minutes and is a gentle starting point for us to begin getting to know each other. There’s no pressure or obligation to continue afterwards, the choice is entirely yours. This first session is a chance to see how we feel working together and whether counselling with me feels like the right fit for you. I’ll ask some questions and take a few details to help us begin our work together in a way that feels safe and supportive.
If you decide to continue, we’ll arrange a mutually convenient time for ongoing sessions. These will also be 50 minutes long and can take place weekly or fortnightly, depending on what works best for you.
Please do get in touch here or call or text me on 07938828191 to book your first session or if you would like some more information.
