About me
Hello, I’m Agnieszka (Agnes), an Integrative Psychotherapeutic Counsellor.
Have you ever found yourself lying awake at night, with your thoughts going round and round in your head? Or feeling stuck in the same cycle of worry, sadness, or frustration — no matter how hard you try to move on? Maybe you feel overwhelmed by life’s pressures, or caught between caring for others while silently struggling yourself.
Counselling can be the space where you no longer have to hold it all alone. With me, you’ll find a safe, non-judgemental place to slow down, untangle what’s going on inside, and discover your own way forward.
I work with people facing all kinds of challenges. For some, it’s the constant spiral of thoughts in their head, for others, it’s that heavy feeling of being stuck, flat, or unmotivated, where even small tasks feel like too much. You might be carrying the weight of grief after losing someone important, or feeling like you can’t quite catch your breath because life’s pressures never let up.
Perhaps you find yourself snapping at those you love even though you don’t mean to, or doubting yourself no matter what you achieve. Sometimes it’s about difficulties in relationships – whether that’s arguments that go in circles, drifting apart from your partner, or struggling to communicate with family.
Whatever you’re facing, therapy is a space to pause, untangle what’s going on, and find a way forward that feels right for you. I work with individual clients and couples who want to reconnect, rebuild trust, or find a better way to communicate.
I work with adults, teenagers, and young people from age 11 upwards. I also have experience supporting neurodivergent clients, including those with autism and ADHD.
Sessions are available face-to-face in Aylesbury, or online for your convenience.
Alongside counselling, I bring many years of experience from my healthcare background. I am a registered nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) and adhere to their professional code of ethics.
I speak fluent English and Polish, and I am passionate about creating a space where you can feel understood in your own words, in your own language.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
