About me

Do you feel like you keep repeating the same unhelpful patterns, whether in your thoughts, habits, or relationships? Are you tired of the cycle and want to get out of it?

Hi, I'm Adrianna, a CBT therapist based in Edinburgh. I work with people who want to uncover what's driving these loops and create lasting change, so they can navigate life's challenges and become the best version of themselves.

I offer a safe, welcoming space where you can slow down, breathe, and talk openly about your concerns, without fear of judgment. My goal is to help you feel grounded and resilient, so you can overcome challenges with greater ease and confidence. Together, we'll work towards rediscovering clarity, strength, and a sense of possibility for the future.

If you'd like to explore whether I'm the right support for you, I invite you to get in touch for a free initial consultation. This gives us the opportunity to meet, talk through what's been feeling difficult, and look at how I can help you break unhelpful cycles and reconnect with a sense of calm, fulfilment, and everyday joy.

Training, qualifications & experience

I hold a Diploma in Counselling and Groupwork - A CBT Approach from The Centre of Therapy & Counselling Studies (SCOTACS), and I am a registered member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy).

I work in private practice, supporting clients with a range of issues including anxiety, low mood, stress, self-esteem issues, and life transitions.

My approach is rooted in CBT, helping clients understand the patterns driving their difficulties and build practical, lasting tools for change. I also bring experience in group therapy and psychotherapy, which informs how I think about the relational side of individual work.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
