About me

Life can feel overwhelming at times, especially when you’re dealing with anxiety, low self-worth, or feeling stuck in patterns you can’t quite understand or change. You might be managing a lot in your head while trying to get through each day, and it can be hard to know where to start or how to make things feel better.

Why I Get It

I’ve worked with people who have spent a long time coping on their own, feeling unsure whether their struggles are “big enough” for therapy. But you don’t need to reach a breaking point to ask for support. I understand how difficult it can be to carry your feelings quietly, to doubt yourself, or to keep putting others first while your own needs get pushed aside.

What to Expect

Therapy with me offers a calm, accepting space where you can speak openly at your own pace. There’s no pressure to have the right words or a clear plan; we start wherever you are. Together, we explore your thoughts and emotions, make sense of what feels confusing or heavy, and look at what might help you feel more grounded and supported in everyday life.

How We Can Work Together

I can support you with:

  • Anxiety and constant worry
  • Low self-esteem and inner criticism
  • Stress, burnout and overwhelm
  • Relationship patterns and boundaries
  • Self-acceptance and feeling comfortable in yourself
  • Difficult past experiences or trauma
  • Feeling lost, stuck or unsure of yourself

My approach is gentle, collaborative and steady. I won’t rush you or tell you who you should be. We’ll focus on understanding what you’re going through and finding small, meaningful steps toward feeling more settled and confident in yourself.

If you’re ready to have a space where you’re listened to, understood and supported, I’m here to help. You can visit my website for more information or to get in touch.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
