I am a fully qualified Psychotherapist and Counsellor. My Psychotherapy and Counselling practice is flexible, and hopes to meet the different needs of individuals, couples and families on both a short and long-term basis. I work within an integrative model which is informed by psychodynamic and systemic models. I work with CBT as and when required.
My practice has been running for over ten years, helping many people through very difficult emotional and psychological periods of their lives - including; relationship difficulties; depression, anxiety and childhood related traumas.
My approach is flexible, depending on individual needs.
I am accredited by the body - United Kingdom Counselling & Psychotherapy (UKCP)
Training, qualifications & experience
I hold an MSc in Systemic Psychotherapy (University of Bedfordshire) / Postgraduate Diploma in Psychodynamic Counselling (Goldsmiths College, University of London), / MSc in Public and Health Related Aspects of Addiction, (Institute of Psychiatry), London.
My psychotherapy experience is extensive, both within the public sector and private practice. I have helped individuals, couples and families overcome a variety of emotional and psychological difficulties.
I specialise in couple work / marital discord, where infidelity has caused marital or long term relationship breakdown.
My NHS (CAMHS London) experience means I also specialise in Adolescent Mental Health and family related issues.
I work with adults, young people, couples and families experiencing a range of relational and mental health difficulties including; depression, anxiety, drug misuse, sexual abuse, sexual identity and bereavement.
