About me
In life we can often feel overwhelmed and unhappy, struggling with anxiety, coping with loss, or experiencing difficulties in your relationships or work life. During times like these, it can be helpful to speak with someone who will listen carefully, without judgement, and support you in making sense of what you are going through.
With over 25 years of experience as a counsellor, I offer a confidential and supportive space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings openly. Counselling can help you gain a deeper understanding within yourself and your relationships.
My aim is to provide a safe, respectful and trusting environment where we can work together to understand the difficulties you may be facing. Through this process, you may develop greater clarity, confidence and the ability to make decisions that support your wellbeing.
If you feel that counselling could be helpful for you, please feel free to get in touch. We can have an initial talk about what you are experiencing and how I might be able to support you.

My Approach
I enjoy my work as a counsellor and have remained enthusiastic and motivated to help and support people through difficult and uncertain periods in their lives.
Having experienced counselling myself in the past, I understand how valuable it can be to have a supportive and non-judgemental space where you can talk openly and work through personal difficulties. This understanding helps me create a safe and respectful environment for the people I work with. Counselling is a collaborative process. Together we work to build trust, understanding and a sense of safety, allowing you to explore your experiences and gain the insight needed to move forward in a way that feels right for you.
If this sounds like something you are seeking to do, don't hesitate to contact me.
Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
