Jaime Reininho, BACP (Accred) Psychotherapist, CBT & Mindfulness
AVAILABLE FOR TELEPHONE AND VIDEO SESSIONS. I am a BACP accredited Psychotherapist working with Solution Focused Therapy, CBT, Mindfulness, Compassion Focused Therapy and Chairwork. I have been in practice from 2002 and have extensive experience in helping people overcome depression, anxiety and panic, low confidence, intrusive thoughts, obsessions, relationship and parenting difficulties, anger, life crisis, conflict, phobias, lack of self-esteem, stress, etc.
I offer appointments in Clifton, Bristol, available Mon-Thu 10-7. I can offer home visits in certain cases.
I help individuals, couples and families to develop a better and more compassionate understanding of their difficulties. I support my clients to find realistic and effective ways to change what is not working so well, so they can regain a sense of balance and wellbeing in their lives.
Having been a parenting adviser with Parentline Plus for 5 years, I have a special interest in relationship and communication issues within the family and with couples.
I also offer coaching and training for individuals and groups in assertiveness, Non-Violent Communication, overcoming stress, self awareness, parenting and anger management.
I have helped thousands of people overcome their problems. My approach tends to be intuitive and straight to the point and in my experience one can address many of our mental issues with relatively few sessions. I also provide long term therapy for those cases where that is necessary.

Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
