About me
I am a BABCP accredited Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist with 25 years experience in Adult Mental Health. My most recent NHS employment has been with the Anxiety Disorder Residential Unit, a Specialist National Unit for the treatment of treatment resistant OCD and other anxiety disorders. I consider myself to be a Specialist in the treatment of a range of anxiety disorders but also other mental health problems. I offer individual therapy, but also involve friends and relatives if this is I see the majority of my clients in my clinic or GP premises and accept self-referrals but also referrals from other professionals, Health Insurers and Rehabilitation Companies. I also offer home visits and home treatment i.e. intensive home treatment for the treatment of OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder).

The BABCP is the lead organisation for Cognitive Behavioural Therapy in the UK. Membership is open to anyone with an interest in the practice, theory or development of CBT. BABCP also provides accreditation for CBT therapists. BABCP accredited members adhere to the Standards of Conduct, Performance and Ethics in the Practice of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies, and are willing to be scrutinised in this adherence as required.
