About me
Transform your relationship with food and your body with personalised therapy for lasting change
Hello! I am a fully qualified and experienced psychotherapist who has worked for over twenty years and with thousands of clients, focusing on weight-related challenges, including obesity, binge eating, and body image concerns. I also specialise in supporting those choosing weight loss surgery and weight loss injections to help manage their weight.
My aim is to help you uncover the deeper psychological and emotional patterns that drive your relationship with food and your body, supporting you to sustainable change.
With the emergence of weight loss injections, many people are turning to these for rapid results. However, the reality is clear: without addressing the underlying reasons for your eating habits, including emotional triggers and history, the weight is likely to return once the injections stop.
My targeted approach is designed to complement these tools, to empower you to reprogram your mindset and behaviours, so they become part of a sustainable transformation - not a short term fix.
My Approach
I focus on specific issues including:
Unpacking the emotional drivers behind your eating patterns.
Examining and reshaping habits and lifestyle choices that contribute to weight challenges.
Building a healthier and more compassionate relationship with your body.
By doing this, we can address the root causes, ensuring that weight loss injections or any other tools you choose, work as a catalyst for change. There is no magic wand, you bring the magic.
Therapy Tailored to Your Needs
I offer flexible on-line therapy options to suit your unique situation and goals:
Single-Session Therapy
This focused session is ideal for:
Tackling a specific issue that’s holding you back.
Gaining clarity and actionable strategies for immediate use.
Laying the foundation for ongoing change.
Extended Therapy
For those seeking deeper, more comprehensive work, we can design a tailored program that explores your relationship with food, emotions, and lifestyle patterns in greater depth. This approach allows us to create lasting change at a pace that works for you.
Do get in touch
I understand that finding the right therapist is an important decision. I’d be happy to discuss your needs over the phone, answer any questions, and see if we’re a good fit for working together.
I look forward to hearing from you.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
