About me
Life can be unpredictable. One day things can be going well and overnight, everything can change for the worse. You may be struggling with an issue from your past that it impacting upon how you feel in the present, you may be experiencing sleepless nights, walking on eggshells in your relationship, consumed by negative thoughts and overthinking. It can become exhausting and overwhelming sometimes and lead to both emotional and physical issues if not addressed or resolved. Maybe you feel like giving up, or doing the usual everyday tasks such as shopping, talking to people, getting out of bed and getting dressed, feels like a major struggle? Whatever the case may be, maybe it's time to reach out and get the help you need and deserve.
I believe in the type of therapy where a trusting therapeutic relationship is the foundation. It's not only about exploring solutions and providing strategies. Counselling is also about being heard without judgement being treated as the unique individual that you are. Do you feel like people listen to you but you don't always feel heard? I've felt like that in my life. Possibly, that's one of the reasons I decided to become a therapist and a coach so that I can be there for others and understand you where you are, as well as working with you to get you to where you want to be. There is no magic wand and I don't possess a 'fix-it' kit, but I am committed to working with you for as long as you need me.
I provide a space for individuals and couples to explore their feelings without judgement and to discuss what is impacting upon your lives and then together, we can hopefully find solutions. I also provide supervision to counsellors. I currently do not have access to a counselling room so I provide Phone, Zoom Video, WhatsApp and FaceTime Counselling

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

Accredited Register Scheme
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
