- DUE TO THE CURRENT CORONAVIRUS CRISIS I AM OFFERING APPOINTMENTS VIA SKYPE, WHATSAPP VIDEO AND TELEPHONE.
I am a fully accredited psychotherapist and can offer counselling to adults and young people in my private practice based just outside Walsall. UKCP accredited since 2011.
I work with individuals and couples on a variety of issues on a short and long term basis.
I can offer appointments Monday to Friday daytime and early evening and Saturday mornings. I can also do home visits within a 10 mile radius.
I have experience working within the NHS, having worked in the Primary Care Trust with referrals from GP's.
Have worked substantially for commercial businesses to assist employees with anxiety, depression, trauma, stress and bereavement, alongside my work in private practice. Debrief after critical incident onsite.
Training, qualifications & experience
I have completed training at The Sherwood Institute in Nottingham of a 4 year MA in Humanistic Person-Centred course and have attained full accreditation with the UKCP.
MA in Humanistic Person-Centred Psychotherapy (June 2010).

UK Council for Psychotherapy
The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.
As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.
UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
