About me
I am an experienced Psychotherapist, and Jungian Psychoanalyst and Supervisor. I have worked in the NHS, and for Gloucestershire Occupational Health and am currently in private practice in the Cotswolds. I provide a calm and secure place for personal reflection- a space to work through difficulties and problems, discretely and in a rural setting. I am fully registered with the UKCP and adhere to their code of ethics.
My original training as an Integrative psychotherapist – as well as my work as a Jungian Analyst – means that I draw on a number of ideas ranging from the oldest forms of psychotherapy to more contemporary methods of treatment. It’s part of being human to feel uncertain and conflicted, but we live in a world that wants certainty and simple solutions. Jungian Analysis makes space for these uncertainties without reaching for easy answers. Done thoughtfully, it can transform our understanding of ourselves and change our lives. I don’t think this process ‘cures’ people or changes what has happened in the past, nor do I have ready-made answers, but I do believe that it can enable people to move on and get back to leading vibrant and fulfilling lives.
I pay special attention to the way relationships from the past impact on our lives, as well as finding practical ways of coping with stressful and challenging situations.
As well as my private practice I am an external tutor on the MA programme at Bath Centre for Psychotherapy and Counselling.

Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.
As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.
UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
