About me

Corona Virus is affecting us all, whether we have it or not.  Isolation is causing many people to suffer anxiety and depression and people who already suffer with it, are experiencing it to be worse than ever.  That's why it's more important than ever to get support.

TAKE THAT STEP - I can help you move forward in your life. Half hour FREE ASSESSMENT. I am a dedicated and experienced BACP Counsellor, Clinical Hypnotherapist, CBT Practitioner, NLP Practitioner and Life Coach. I have a extensive experience working with people suffering with depression anxiety and lack of confidence issues. I also specialise in couples counselling.  I work with family therapy to enable all members of a family to understand how to help each other in their difficulties. I offer face to face and online counselling and visualizations in a quiet rural environment in Etchingham.  I constantly research the field of counselling and work in a pro-active, solution focused manner. Visualizations are a powerful and effective way to achieve goals and overcome repeating behavioural problems.  I can teach you how to focus your mind and change negative behaviour patterns to positives. Hypno-birthing is a wonderful and natural process that I teach to bring new life into the world.

My approach is non-judgmental and I have unconditional respect for my clients. As each client and their needs are unique I therefore ensure that I work towards helping them learn the skills that work for them rather than a fixed theory. Couples counselling is increasingly needed to help people manage in todays' often stressful environment.  All the stresses of modern day life have an increasing toll on relationships and families.  I work with many clients who lack confidence and self-worth as well as ongoing problems with anxiety or depression, helping them achieve their full potential both in their private and professional life.  Counselling and/or hypnotherapy is often useful for career and work related problems to help manage and improve communication skills, helping you to explore possible career changes or improve your existing position.  I also work extensively with children and young people.  I offer face to face counselling in a beautiful woodland setting away from the stress of towns and sometimes, high profile lives.  My clients experience how to be able to see their inner state of being and form a positive self-image.  This enables them to feel more grounded and safer.  Visualizations are a powerful medium to focus the mind on goals. It can also aid better sleep and general well-being. I work extensively with individuals of all ages and couples, teaching mind management so that they understand themselves better and so understand what makes them happy and what is stopping them from achieving this.  Online counselling, Skype, telephone counselling and home visits by arrangement. Appropriate counselling and hypnotherapy can change your life and help you choose and achieve your goals.  It is also useful for anger management and anxiety as well as cessation of destructive behaviour patterns.

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
