About me
I am a therapeutic counsellor and an Accredited member of The British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP), which is one of the main governing bodies of the counselling profession. I work under their guidelines and code of ethics of safe practice. I work face to face with individuals and couples who are feeling discontent. you may be experiencing feeling low in mood for various reasons such as depression, low self esteem, anxiety, stress, panic attacks or a bereavement.
I offer a supportive environment where you feel free to speak without fear of being judged, where you are listened to. I aim to provide appointment times to suit you, instant appointments either before work, weekdays or evenings.
Training, qualifications & experience
I have a post graduate diploma in counselling and practice both psychodynamic and person centred theories. I have experience in working with both open ended/long term therapy aswell as short term with both adults and adolescents. I am also an Accredited member of the BACP
Member organisations
Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
