Open to all
Marple Cross Centre, Albemarle House, Osborne Road, Southsea, Hampshire, PO5 3LB

Have you ever lost a loved one and felt that you would never feel free again of the grief and pain of loss? Are you fearful of taking a chance on a new relationship, in case it doesn't work out and you have to go through the pain again? Are you supporting someone who is suffering a loss or bereavement and unsure how best to help them? Then this half-day workshop is for you.

Counsellor Stefan Charidge will help you understand what grief is, how the mind, body and emotions are affected by grief, and how this fundamental emotion is an unavoidable part of engaging with life.

At the end of the workshop, you will have gained a deeper understanding of grief and of your own response to grief and loss, which may help you at painful times in the future.

This is the first of 4 workshops on Understanding Emotions; the others are "Understanding Anger" (Sept 18th), "Understanding Fear" (Oct 23rd) and "Understanding Joy" (Nov 20th).

Advance booking essential. 10.00 - 1.00, Saturday August 21st. £18.00. Tea, coffee and soft drinks provided. Please visit www.marplecrosscentre.co.uk for contact and booking details.
