I am a BACP Senior Accredited Counsellor and a BACP Senior Accredited Supervisor. I hold a Certificate in Supervision and offer Integrative and Person-Centred supervision to student counsellors, newly qualified counsellors and experienced counsellors. I also run small online groups for counsellors working with couples.
My original training was Person-Centred, but my CPD training includes Psychodynamic / TA, Focusing, CBT, Couple Counselling & further Person-Centred courses and workshops. This enables me to utilise theories and techniques from different orientations both within my client and supervision work.
I offer face to face, online and telephone supervision, but prefer to use video calling if it is possible for telephone and online sessions.
I am happy to offer a free 45 minute session so you can get a feel of how it is to work with me and I can answer any questions you may have.
My fees are - Student Counsellors - £50 per session
Qualified Counsellors - £60 per hour - £65 per 1hr 30mins.
Online group supervision for counsellors working with couples
I run online supervision groups for counsellors working with couples. The groups have maximum 4 members. The cost is £40 per 2hr session. Each supervisee will receive 1 hour supervision time towards their 1.5 hrs BACP monthly requirement.
Aims of the group -
• To offer ongoing support for counsellors working with couples
• To supervise ongoing couple work
• To explore issues and challenges around working with couples
• To share knowledge and experiences from fellow professionals
• To share strategies and interventions, whilst exploring new avenues and directions for work with our couples
I have over 14 years experience working with couples within my private practice. I have a real passion for my work with couples and would like to share my experience and passion with other couple counsellors.
Open to Counsellors who are new to or experienced in Couple Work. (Due to the complexity of couple work some CPD couple/relationship training is required, post counselling qualification)
If you would like to join me for individual or group supervision, or if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me via Counselling Directory / 07748 698304 / email me via my website www.victoriacutting.co.uk
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
