Supervision details
Clinical Supervision
Hi there! I’m Helen. I’m a qualified clinical supervisor and experienced Integrative Counsellor, and I believe supervision works best when it feels like a safe, collaborative space to pause, reflect and think together. I hold a Level 6 Advanced Certificate in Clinical Supervision, including Online and Telephone Working, and offer supervision that is warm, relational and grounded in a person-centred philosophy.
My supervision approach is also informed by the Seven-Eyed Model. I see supervision as a space where we can explore what is happening in your client work, make sense of what you are noticing, and sometimes gently challenge our thinking when that feels helpful.
We can bring client work, therapeutic relationships, clinical dilemmas, or anything that feels unclear, difficult or stuck. Together, we can slow things down and look at what might be influencing the work from different perspectives. My aim is to help you feel supported while developing your clinical thinking, confidence and professional judgement.
I offer supervision to qualified counsellors and trainees, and welcome practitioners working in a range of settings. I want supervision to feel like a place where you can be open and curious about your practice without fear of judgement, while keeping a clear focus on ethical practice and the wellbeing of both you and your clients.
I’m an experienced Integrative Counsellor in private practice, working with both adults and young people. My therapeutic approach is integrative, with person-centred values at its core. I have experience supporting people with anxiety, stress, grief, depression, bullying, trauma, loneliness, abuse and family difficulties, with a particular interest in anxiety and stress-related presentations.

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
