Supervisor Profile

As a qualified and experienced Person-Centred Supervisor, I provide supervision to organisations, trainee therapists, and qualified therapists across all theoretical modalities. I offer both individual and group supervision, with a flexible approach that adapts to the unique needs of each supervisee, whether you are just beginning your therapeutic journey or have extensive experience.

With my core training rooted in Person-Centred Therapy, I hold a Diploma and Postgraduate Diploma from the Metanoia Institute, where I have also completed advanced supervision training. I am an approved Person-Centred supervisor for Metanoia, ensuring that I adhere to the highest standards of practice in supervision. Additionally, I have further training in supervision from Lisa Mass Associates, which has deepened my understanding and skills in supporting therapists at all levels.

I offer supervision for a variety of therapeutic settings and modalities, including work in NHS mental health services, drug and alcohol services, and community-based organisations. My experience in these environments allows me to support supervisees working with diverse client populations, including those experiencing mental health difficulties, addiction, trauma, and complex relational issues.

Supervision can be an invaluable space for reflection, personal and professional growth, and for exploring the challenges that arise in therapeutic work. Whether you are seeking support for your own practice, working through difficult cases, or exploring new ways of engaging with your clients, I am committed to creating a safe, collaborative, and supportive environment in which we can explore these challenges together.

I offer flexible session formats:

Face-to-face appointment in Evesham and Zoom or telephone sessions for remote supervision.

I work within a non-directive framework, fostering a space where you can reflect on your client work, explore your own process, and develop your practice in alignment with your professional goals. My aim is to support you in maintaining ethical, compassionate, and reflective practice, while also encouraging self-care and the management of therapist burnout.

If you are looking for a supervisor who will offer insight, challenge, and empathy, I would welcome the opportunity to work with you. Please feel free to get in touch to discuss how we can collaborate on your professional development.

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
